Nokia Launches X, X+ and Xl series first of its kind Android Phones

Nokia today has just launched some of its first smartphones based on AOSP(Android Open Source Project)and the device will run Android Apps solely made by Microsoft and Nokia.


The Specs for the devices are as follows

Nokia X, X+  are dual sim phone with the following specs :-

Display -  4 inch with 480*800 resolution
Processor - 1 ghz Dual core snapdragon s4
RAM - 768 mb
Expandable memory slot till 32 gb
Camera -  Primary - 3mp, Secondary - nil
Battery - 1500 mAh
Nokia XL comes with the following changes

Display -  5 inch with 480*800 resolution
Camera - Primary - 5 mp and Seconadary - 720p  shooter
RAM - 768 mb
Battery - 2000 mah
The remainig specs are simialr to the other siblings
The Nokia X will be released immediately with a price packaging of 89 euro approx Rs 1500.

The others in the lineup X+ and XL series will be in the second quarter with a price range of 99 and 109 Euros respectively rs 8400 and Rs 9300 .(All prices are excluding import duties and taxes).


The UI is definitely inspired to have an hybrid of both Metro and the customised version of Android. Even though there is no play store support, users can utilise third party apps


Nokia's most favourite Mix Radio and Here Maps are available . The maps showcase turn to turn navigation and other features too. The devices are preloaded with lots of apps for the users

Well the changes are here but we have to wait for the better side of Nokia and android to see a magic of this combination together.
